Can't I Just Take My Own Photos?

Yes, of course. Most people today have access to a digital camera. Some cameras are better than others, but what really makes a difference is your skill in composing and preparing the photos. Once it's on your computer there are a lot of considerations like where do I crop the image; should it be lighter; what resolution (dpi) do I use. It can be difficult.

Are Motherlodeweb's Photos Better?

Motherlodeweb's photographer is Rich Knight. He has more than 20 years experience working as a professional. Actually, photography has been his passion for much longer than that. Rich's study of art and composition set his work apart from most other photographers.

What About Digital Photos?

Digital photography has been around for a while. Rich has been using Adobe Photoshop for more than 10 years and has expert skills in applying the tools essential to making superior images. How you intend to use the image affects how it's prepared. We can deliver the image in any resolution and any file format that fits your needs. Rich's background in restoring photographs also gives him expertise in removing some unavoidable distracting elements from his photos using the computer.

Can I Send You My Photos?

Yes. You can email your own digital photos to us for processing and upload to Realtor.comŽ. You can even mail traditional photos to us to be scanned, processed, uploaded and even emailed back to you if you like.

We can even scan and process drawings such as property maps and architectural drawings like elevations and floor plans.

How Does It Work?

It's easy. Just send email to or call 530.676.2465 to schedule an appointment. Our photographer will meet you at the property and shoot as many photos as you like. The photos will be processed and emailed to you and uploaded to Realtor.com and MLS usually by the next day.

Photos can be delivered individually or assembled into a photo web page. The photo web page can be hosted on our website, your website or burned to a CD and given to clients.

How Much Does It Cost?

A basic photo package is $35.00 per listing and includes up to 12 photos, digital processing and free upload to Realtor.com. An MLS number is required for all Realtor.com and MLS uploads. Need more than 12 photos? No problem. We'll take as many more photos as you like at the same time and location for $2.00 each.

Working with photos that you've taken are priced according to your needs. We'll work out a plan for whatever you have.

How Big Can The Photos Be?

Property listing photos for upload to Realtor.com or MLS may be 300w x 200h pixels. Agent photos may be 80w x 120h. Photos for Motherlodeweb tours are 640w x 480h. Photos for other uses can be any size you specify. Digital camera photos can be provided for printing up to 11" x 14". Arrangements can be made for larger sizes - even mural size prints if you want.
